Wedding Flowers Frequently Asked Questions

Budgets

Most of our couples spend between $4-6k. Flower budget typically falls at 15-20% of the overall wedding budgets and of course it varies depending on the couple and their needs. Some couples prefer to spend between 25 to 30% of their wedding budget on an immersive floral experience in order to create a true wow effect.

We do weddings as small as a single bouquet and a boutonniere and as grand as $10k+.

A lot of our brides and grooms also use the option of A-la Carthe Wedding Flowers choosing flower options with a lower budget and minimum customization.

On average, the wedding (bridal) bouquet would be around $295 with the range being from $155 (posy) to $450 (luxe). We have compiled a size guide as well as color palette reference - have a look at our Bridal Bouquets here.

On average, a medium size table centerpiece would be around $250-$300

We have recently seen a huge success in Bud Vases Tablescapes (with or without candles, cheesecloths, additional decor etc.) Those are priced per table and are typically around $250+ per standard rectangular table.

On average, the flower arch would be around $1500-2000, with the range being from $550+ to $3-4k.

Less is More and let’s create wow factors!
E.g. We would opt in for the lush flower arch and no bridesmaids bouquets, rather than a small arch and small bouquets. One table centerpiece can be a bigger statement that 10 bud vases and cost less. Think about your budget, be ready to cut unnecessary flower pieces, and focus on the main things.

Yes, we absolutely do! Some of the floral items require a professional set-up (e.g. flower arch), while others, for instance centerpieces, may only be unpacked and placed on the tables.

We deliver anywhere in Ottawa and Gatineau area and are able to go as far as 1.5-2 hours away from Ottawa. Further locations may be possible and could be discussed.

Our store front is located at 2784 Lancaster Rd. in Ottawa. We are proudly creating wedding florals all around Ottawa area.

Yes, we do and we love micro weddings!

We are proud to design and create with a huge variety of florals and we believe in the beauty of every stem. Thus, the short answer is “no”. However, in certain cases, weather conditions, seasonality, the wedding location etc. may affect our choice in preferred flower ingredients. We would be able to discuss that with you in the consult and look closely specifically at your case (venue, season, weather, preferences etc.)

Think about your priorities.
Color scheme, special features, presentation, impact – think about your priorities and what is important to YOU (rather than what is displayed on the pinterest board or what HAS to be done according to the traditional rules)

The color scheme often would depend on the season, venue, and the couple (character).
We would recommend talking to us and filling out the design questionnaire.
